Our quality snap hooks provide a premium finish to your leathercraft projects. We have models made from nickel plated steel, nickel plated zinc, stainless steel and polished or unpolished brass, depending on the hook type.
The range of styles is extensive with models to suit general leatherwork, equestrian tack, pet harnesses and leads, plus leather bags and luggage.
As you would expect, there are strong plated steel carabiners in the range. Also available are flat spring snaps in brass, steel and stainless steel. These are also known as a polo snap hook.
LAPCO can also supply you with a range of slide-type snap hooks, all with swivels and in a wide selection of sizes and materials. Additionally, there are three double ended nickel-plated slide-type snap hooks in sizes from 90mm to 110mm.
Amongst the more specialised snap hooks in the range are Rein scissor snaps, in both solid brass and nickel-plated zinc. These are sometimes called lobster claw clasps and are popular for leather product manufacturers crafting bags and saddlery. The ninety-degree lever makes opening the Rein snap a speedy process.
Across the range are both square and round rings. The measurement shown with the clips is typically the maximum strap size it can accommodate and/or the length.
