Handling leather, when you are creating high-quality leather products, requires equally high-quality specialist leatherworking hand tools.  LAPCO has them!

The process starts with quality cutting tools so that you can form accurate and neat leather components. Of course, the traditional Round Head Knife can be found in our range. The Pro version has a stainless steel blade and is perfect for cutting most leather, while it can also be used for skiving (reducing the thickness) of all weights of leather. A very special leather knife in the range is the medium Damascus Knife. Made from high carbon stainless steel, it has a Pakkawood handle, which is created by bonding thin layers of real hardwood with resin. This creates a very durable product. The price indicates the quality of this beautiful leather-cutting knife.

A cost-effective rotary cutter completes the standard cutting range. Perfect for leather, it also cuts paper, card, vinyl, canvas and fabric.

Leather strip cutters are suitable for cutting leather belt blanks, leather thonging or strips. There are three strip cutters in the range. Included are models that will cut strips up to 4” wide. They range from the simple and affordable Australian Strander, for leather strips up to 13mm wide and 3.6mm thick, to the top-quality Draw Gauge.

The alternative leather cutting method is with scissors, and they need to be of the highest quality. Our leathercraft shears are! The 17cm shears are great for leather up 3.2mm thick, while the 25cm stainless steel leather sheers are perfect for accurate cuts on larger pieces.

Completing the range are two styles of leather edge beveler. The standard beveler comes in four sizes, while the Keen Edge Beveler has a curved back and is easier to control than the standard beveler. It comes in three sizes. They are great to take the edge off belts and bags leaving a professional finish.
