Exceptionally popular is the aptly named Fiebing’s Leather Dye, a penetrating, alcohol-based dye which dries uniformly and mixes easily to create unlimited and interesting mid tones. Quality dyes are the company’s specialty, and there are several other options, including the long-lasting Fiebing’s Acrylic Dye. There is also the dedicated Suede Dye which Fiebing created to dye, brighten and restore suede and roughout shoes, or other similar articles such as bags and boots.
The company also developed Fiebing’s Institutional Dye, which is a non-flammable, water based, penetrating leather dye. It is suitable for leathercraft projects created with natural vegetable tanned leathers.
