Tasman Leather’s boot leather is thick and hardwearing, and we have a range of leathers to choose from.

Merlin Black Sides is a lighter-weight chrome-tanned leather with a smooth surface. It is ideal for bags. One of our most popular leathers, this is the choice of many designers for their projects. It has a thickness of 1.2 – 1.8mm. Tasman Harley Sides is a popular oiled boot leather with a buffed smooth surface and a velvety handle. It has a thickness range of 1.8 – 2.0mm. Dallas Oiled Kip is a thick hardwearing leather with a smooth surface. It is ideal for boots, shoes, and satchels, having a depth of 2.4 – 2.6mm. We also stock a collection of assorted Tasman Industrial Leathers. That range includes a variety of leathers from 1.4 – 2.5mm thick having a selection of leather finishes, currently numbering 11.
