Chahin’s natural russet strap leather is vegetable tanned in the same process as their skirting leather. This leather takes tooling, carving, stamping and embossing well, and absorbs oils and dyes uniformly. Over time, it will develop a beautiful patina. Good for belts, dog collars, tack, holsters, sheaths, arborist products, journal covers, pouches, bags, briefcases.

Important Information

Leather is a natural product, so holes, marks and scars are to be expected. Over time, the leather will change colour with exposure to light, absorb oil, and develop a beautiful, unique patina. The final price on your invoice will reflect the actual size of the hide dispatched. Minimum order quantity is 24 sqft, which equals one hide. To convert square feet to square metres, divide by 10.764.
